UTU Trust Guardian Communities Program

Goal

Decentralise UTU’s governance and accelerate our technology and traction through a global network of engaged communities that will steward better trust on the next internet.

Dual-Incentive Model

• Contributors earn bounties for protocol development and other tasks
• When your contributors earn bounties, the Community will receive a 2X endowment to their treasury at each of the bounty milestones defined below.
• Endowments are meant to support your community members’ projects that also leverage UTU, and are governed by you/your community.

Bounty Milestones

Milestone 1: $5K in bounties paid unlock $10K endowment to Community Treasury

Milestone 2: $10K in bounties paid unlocks $20K endowment to Community Treasury

Milestone 3: $25K in bounties paid unlocks $50K endowment to Community Treasury

Bounty Areas

• Technical development and integrations (e.g. Add Social Connectors, Chains, Signals, Interfaces, Intelligence)
• User/Community growth including content creation & education initiatives

Endowments

• Funds deployed to a multisig (3 of 4) governed by existing UTU Trust Guardians (2) and Community Leaders (2)
• Funds intended to support the development and growth of Community Member projects that also integrate and leverage UTU
